We here at Joomla2xs.com have always embraced all aspects of the the Internet and particularly Web Development.
In the area of Content Management Systems, its clear we are fans of Joomla as it takes no genius to conclude from this website. ;)
However, personally I am also a huge fan of Wordpress and this lead me to purchase and read an excellent ebook (a paper version is due for release shortly) entitled "Digging into Wordpress" - the Book by authors Chris Coyier and Jeff Starr.
My original interest in this book came from following the excellent CSS works of Chris Coyier and his ever riveting screencasts on CSS-Tricks.com
After hearing of the soon to arrive book, I kept and eye on his site with baited breath on what coded gems would be included in this book, from a man who clearly knew his stuff when it comes to CSS, jQuery and Wordpress.
In short, I was not disappointed with this read and I have discovered some superb tips, tricks and snippets to last me some time to come in developing with Wordpress.

Never fear we haven't turned to the dark side of CMS design, but we do appreciate all methods and Wordpress is worthy of the praise, and the same can be said of Chris Coyier and Jeff Starr with this excellent read, well done guys.
It took over a year to produce and the quality established in the content shows that.
